I love my rottweiler pit mix (mom was rott, dad was pit), but she is a brat. lol. My black lab / pitt is the sweetest dog ever, and my Australian Shepherd and Samoyed boys are always in competition with each other.

Australian Shepherd Blue Merle, picked my baby up when she was 8 weeks old, one of the most loyal companions I could ever ask for, it's bitter sweet that she won't listen to a single person besides me  sucks when she's acting up and im not around though.

My actual answer at the moment has to be pit bulls. I'm mostly around pit bulls and while some of them suck (like every breed of dog) there are so many sweet pit bulls.

I don't usually like little dogs. I've met some cool chihuahuas, but most of them I'm not fond of. I think part of the reason little dogs annoy me is because people don't bother training them and let them get away with everything. They become little shits.

Samoyeds seem so sweet, I don't have any first hand experience with them but they seem like good dogs.

I absolutely love my friend's husky german shepherd mix, so incredibly smart and fun - I love it when you can literally see an animal's thought process and the gears turning in their head, but I don't have a yard right now and if I move into a place with a yard anytime soon it's going to be like an 8x8 foot yard. Obviously walks multiple times a day and trips to the dog park are a given, and my place isn't super small, but there's no wide open spaces to roam around freely right at my disposal and there are loads of dog breeds I like that would just be miserable and destructive unless they had a lot of property to run around on at the drop of a hat.

I love Samoyeds :inlove3:

Japanese Spitzes are almost identical to them, except they're a lil smaller. Such fucking cute doggies! I'm a sucker for wolfy ears and soft long fur.

Me?! oh god no how could you hate a face like that lol. I grew up learning how to ride and train all kinds of horses including the occasional odd one that would come through that was genuinely dangerous for one reason or another, I'm used to dealing with territorial and aggressive animals and I've got to say I haven't come across a large dog that made me worried. Some were more reserved(often dogs that came from shelters with unknown histories) and with those ones you can kind of read them and tell that you've got to respect their space and their level of comfort with you..but 99% of the mid and large dog breeds I've run into are giant affectionate teddy bears.

The only ones I have honestly been uneasy around are a couple of small dog breeds that are outright aggressive and ran around snapping at guest's ankles that they didn't know.
Little dogs scare me. I actually got attacked as an infant by our family dog, seeing as I literally tried to ride our other dog until I was like 8 or 9, I wouldn't be surprised if I pissed him off - but it was bad, lots of blood, my face had to get sewed together and my parents said that he had been showing a certain amount of hostility towards me since my arrival..and they euthanized. He was my 5 year old brothers dog, and I still feel guilty about it.

Big dogs can cause damage, but I'm a firm believer that upbringing is everything except for <1% of cases, like dogs that genuinely have something that went wrong genetically. Every single pit bull I've met, even intact males were so incredibly friendly and happy to be around people.

My Australian Shepard was a very quiet dog as well.
Which was another reason I loved that guy like a bro.

We'd go on all sorts of adventures together.
Were homeless in a graveyard for awhile, etc etc. Golf park at night.
Had him since he was a puppy and took him everywhere with me while young.
So, he was very much conditioned to be by my side in strange places.

Such a loyal companion.

I have a cat now, and like him well enough.
But it's...different. Cats just aren't as social.

yeah I love my samoyed - he's really gooofy haha. The Australian Shepherd bullies all the dogs around and he doesn't put up with it. They get into fights periodically.

My sister had my rottweiller/pitbull's dad over one day, he's full-blooded pit and REALLY big.. The Australian Shepherd thought he could bully him around. They were in the barn running around and got into a fight, the pitt would NOT let go. Thinking quick I poured gas on him because we couldn't get him off, and he would have definitely killed him. Didn't know what else to do. And the Australian Shepherd isn't too bright. Apparently he didn't learn his lesson because I was down in Costa Rica a few days ago and had my sister wathcing the farm. He got his eye cut by the pitt, but he will listen to my sister so he luckily didn't get killed.

Literally every single person I’ve ever met who has a pittbull.
Its the most ghetto trash dog ever. Oh i couldn’t tell you were a felon by the knuckle and face tattoos, thanks for getting a pittbul to clear that one up.

Story:

Walking home in the middle of the day, high as shit from my homies house. This Neighborhoods main demographic is newlyweds, and toddlers run around everywhere.

I see some tweaker fuck high of his ass with his ugly ass tweaker bitch, running out of the corner of my eye. Turn around there is frenzied pitbull coming right for me, I kick it in the  face as hard as i can and it jumps back a good 10 feet, pull out my knife Im about to gut this assholes dog when his tweaker friend drives his car on the sidewalk in between me and the dog. I bitched out those assholes for a minute

Dog is lucky i was 2-3 houses away from my homies or i woulda stepped inside grabbed a gun and ended that little fucker. Pits are so dumb. Its like look little homie I’m 3-4x times your size, you have literally no chance especially if your gonna come at me with some weak shit like a nut lunge.
:youseethisshit:

Cant wait till i get a German Shepard then my well trained service dog can gut some tweakers wild beast, and then get some doggy medal of honor for it.

before i got my husky it seemed like a was always dog sitting someone's dog for them....i had a german shepherd....was watching my buddies blue pit...his name was dozer and he was an escape artist....if there was a way to escape he would find it...well he found a way out of my backyard....him and my german shepherd both went for a run around the neighborhood.....probually had 5 different people call the pound saying there was a pitbull and german shepherd running around together....the pit had a microchip because he was always getting out...found the dogs right when the pound started to detect the dogs chip....he wouldn't hurt a fly but i could imagine ppl being scared with those 2 breeds running around together....:lmafo:

Pitbulls get a bad rap.

They are an awesome breed. The problem is every idiot wants to own the tough most baddest dog. Status Bitches!!!
All these idiots also breed these dogs. They pop out litters and scatter them along to be raised with the dredges of society.
These now awesome dogs are raised by idiots, and those that can't really control them.
Then they go and repeat he cycle.

Now there is every fucking bum scum, wanna-be homeless idiot, tweeker, failed at life fuck head, continuing the cycle.

If you are not going to breed your dogs

If you think you want to breed your dog, think again and just say no, unless it's a good line of blood.
Me I end it, and I have a personal vasectomy to prove it.

I am actually driving out of state tomorrow to pick up my new pup.
He will be a papered Rottweiler, with German lineage.
What does that mean to me, hopefully less health issues.
His balls are still coming off in about 4 months.

Adopting a dog is the way to go, but, I couldn't pass this one up. He's coming from a  friend and the price is dirt cheap, since it's a friend.

I am drunk, hope this made sense.
Don't want to sound like an asshole.
Just want to defend why pits have a bad rap and it's due mostly to dumbshits.

Yeah he does come across as a bit of a dickhead huh?

Pretty sure he's a scrawny little thing. He lucked out when that guy came driving on the sidewalk, and he had the nerve to talk shit to the guy for saving his life.

and talking about getting a dog to fight it with other dogs? really? fuck that guy...
