Jack Russels are tight

Super Playful and Energetic
Problem is they think they are big dogs but they are tiny as shit. Ive almost had to kill a few pitbulls for trying to fuck with my 20 pound dog.
I really dislike pitbulls. Super Aggressive, dumb ass shit, and people who know nothing about training dogs always end up getting them, so they just run amok. They are pretty much the sole reason i carry a knife.
I want to get a german shepard i just dont wanna deal with the grooming.
Guess ill have to look into the belgian Maloniois

The only jack russels I have been around are annoying and loud as shit, trouble makers, constantly whining and barking.
What kind of shitty dog owners have you been around for you to hate pitbulls? They are some the kindest and smartest dogs I have ever been around. Sorry you have such a bad stigma tied to them. You're probably one of those people that support the ban of the breed. Pretty ignorant.

Pit bulls can sense weakness and fear. They are a true pack animal and they are amazing dogs if handled right. But that doesn't just mean the owner.
Out of every breed of dog I have met and/or had, a real akita inu is the most loyal yet stubborn, intelligent, and loving. They have personality. Like some kind of sage, or a bumbling bear, you can sense their strength and presence of mind while still having a warm demeanor. Those dogs think. They're calculated. You can see it in their eyes. Treat an akita right and that dog will die for you. Except it never will, because they are bred to kill and they do it well. Seeing an akita fight is perfection like watching a martial arts master at his craft. They are everything I would imagine a truly domesticated wolf to be like. It's almost a shame to even call them a dog.

So are you saying that pitbulls have this amazing dog sixth sense and no other breed of dogs have that level of consciousness? I think that's a bit silly to say. All dogs came originally from a pack, they are all pack animals.
I've owned and bred pitbulls before. When our house was robbed while we were home they ran away and hid in another room. I've also had a half lab half wolf. Never "turned" on us or became aggressive EVER.

It's the aggression level, and no I didn't mean to imply they were special in some way. All dogs have that sense, I just feel they exercise it more because of their aggression level. I owned one as a kid. Great dog. Very smart, good with kids. When I was 2 I shoved a toothpick up his ass and he just looked at me funny.
And to say all dogs are pack animals is wrong. They may come from a species that started as pack animals but when it comes down to it they don't all have that true pack mentality aside from a social perspective.
I'm talking about wolf. Not all dogs have that type of energy. In fact I would say that a more individual basis than the breed type you less you are actually talking about a spitz breed.

Thats the problem with akitas and pit bulls, EVERY SINGLE one of them has natural instincts to kill, do I still like them, yes, but it's not there fault, but it is in them to kill, it can be tamed, somewhat, but when it boils down to it, there instincts are to kill, plain and simple.
I am just stating the facts, are there ones that seem like they would not hurt a fly, and don't there entire lifes, yes, but even with good training, when put into the wrong circumstance, they will try and kill, it's in there nature, bred into them, just as a lab is to retrieve, or pointers are to point, pit bulls and akitas were bred to fight, and kill, I'm not hating on them, I'm actually defending them, they can't help humans did this to them!!!!

Akitas have been in my family for a while. They do have that instinct but with the right owner they are really dosile. My cousin's akita, who is gone now, I've seen break up other dogs fighting by putting his paw on one and grabbing ahold of the other one with his mouth. Another time a shepard came at him while I was walking him and he just held his ground, stone stiff until the last moment and then grabbed his scruff so fast the dog did most of a backflip. Then he just pinned him down and stared him dead in the eyes like "You can fuck around if you want, but I'm going to kill you." It was crazy. He was so proud of himself. lol

Wow, that sounds like it was a really good dog, with obviously owners who know what it takes to train that type of dog well!
If put into the wrong hands, of people who encourage the fighting and killing instincts, or someone who just don't train them at all, I think most would agree, these turn into very dangerous animals.
My boxer got into it with a coon, and fortunately I just happened to go outside with it, cause boxers were trained to hunt boars, and when they found them, they held them until the hunters could get there and shoot, and I think that is what my dog was doing, cause he got bit 6 times, and did not let go until I threw a ball and manage to hit them both, which startled my dog enough to let him go, I did not see it, they were back in some trees, but it was some of the most awful sounds I have ever heard!
if it was an akita or pit, the coon probably would have been long dead, my dog probably would have eventually killed him, but I think his instincts took over, and he was just holding him.

My favorite breed of dog is mutt
My actual answer at the moment has to be pit bulls. I'm mostly around pit bulls and while some of them suck (like every breed of dog) there are so many sweet pit bulls.
I don't usually like little dogs. I've met some cool chihuahuas, but most of them I'm not fond of. I think part of the reason little dogs annoy me is because people don't bother training them and let them get away with everything. They become little shits.
