Hello!
please i need some info... i bought this cubensis cambodian spores frome very Reliable store.
at the first the colonization was very slow, i was keep it at 28 C but it take 7 week until full colonization.
at now the fruiting process is 10 days but i cant heat that so it is 18C - 25C depends the weather. you can see at the images that there is some fruits here.
the smell is fresh and no sing of contimination

my qusetion is it its look ok? why is it took so long? shuld i drop it to the trash?
thank you!!

Looks fine. Shrooms from spores take as long as they take. Longer when doing PF tek cakes because of the lack of shaking. Patience is key.
Darker caps are genetic. Actual black caps are generally a sign the fruit aborted.

OP probably would have seen faster results if he rolled his cake in verm and fruited it in a proper fruiting chamber. A decent micro climate at the surface of the sub and lots of FAE are key requirements for pin formation. Given those two conditions were not met I wonder how many others were ignored. If you half ass conditions you should be happy to just see fruits.
Certainly his lower temps slowed things down as well but I for one prefer fruits grown slow and dense in cooler temps.

Next time dunk (for 24 hours) and roll in verm before u put in FC. And you should poke some more holes around Your bottle there. On The bottom too!

cmon - its clearly a 1-cake grow chamber, im sure OP will step up his methods in the future
honestly, its a great looking grow. Theres humidity and some (for the chamber size) decent mushrooms are forming. If all goes well you can likely get 2.5-4g dry from it over the span of 3 flushes (dunk and roll in verm after each flush)
The mushrooms all look fine. generally speaking, small chambers like this are not ideal for moisture/FAE, and an improvement in FAE particularly might help to get bigger mushrooms. The colour and white bits on the caps are generally related to a slightly sub-par airflow, but are not a bad thing. just fan it a little mor and drill another couple holes in your chamber (if it can e done without shaking or bruising the cake inside)
my experience is that the first flush they usually range 0.1-0.3g dry each, and second flush is when PF tek gives you the big fat 1g+ mushroom(s). You're well on track, and I have a feeling you'll be building yourself a bigger chamber soon enough

Sorry but I need to disagree. 0.1-0.3 g first flush is pathetic. Your first flush should be the best, especially with cakes. FC is one thing but not dunking / rolling is another. Cubes are weeds. There is no reason a person can't see at least 75% BE first flush and 100% should be standard IMO. OP wanted to know if he could improve. I told him how

I was referring to the weight per mushroom. usually the first flush yields about 1.5-2g spread across 5-7 mushrooms. (dry) second flush typically is 1 large mushroom (0.7-1.5g) and only 2-3 smallish mushrooms. third flush is maybe another gram spread across a few smallish mushrooms total yield per PF cake being about 3.5-4g average for 250ml jars. improved techniques can lead to around 5g

First I want to say to the OP that in spite of the fact that his grow is not ideal, its still a result and ones first fruits are exciting. Good job, stick with it and better results should follow.
Next the reason so many people get really small fruits is because they are not providing a decent water reservoir. Especially if you get a good pinset you need to provide extra water as a cakes capacity is so limited. I must have posted a dozen times that people need to do this and yet no one learns then complains about the result. Because there are fewer pin sites for the second flush the fruits are not as starved of water and grow to a decent size. Epic cake growers know this and yet no one picks up on it and then rumors persist that cakes suck and that you won't see good sized fruits till later. Sure genetics plays a small role but there is no reason people can't get killer flushes with ms.
Second flush from those two cakes, note that the fruits are actually the same size as the first flush:

They flushed 4 times. First flush was 12 grams second was just under 9 and I pulled almost an oz from the pair of them combined over 4. There is no reason everyone else can't do the same, unless they are satisfied with small yields.
K I'm off my soapbox. Congrats again OP and good luck on your future grows

curious - is that a contam circled on the jar?
and is that your reason for fruiting in the jars rather than birthing to an open FC? based on my reading of monotub design, i would think you could prevent/limit the side pinning if you wrapped an opaque material around the jar, so that the top pins have more moisture

No the circle was tracking the growth. It was not fruited in open air that would be impossible in my climate. They were fruited in mono tubs with dialed in poly. Also that jar is not a grain spawn jar and is on its second flush which causes side pins tho they are easy to get. With that method you can easily see 150% BE first flush. I have no idea how wrapping an opaque material around the jar would help the top pins get more moisture but it wouldn't help with side pinning. Light does not cause side pins.
The pretty fruits with that method are in the first flush.

However the side pins in the second flush are easy to harvest with a cheap kitchen knife. By the third flush the sub is shrunk that you can just easily pull em out.
I know quite well how to make a monotub.

^I like the tub
The reason i wondered about the opaque material is because nearly ever monotub tek says side/bottom pinning can be prevented by wrapping the casing in a blask bag or otherwise wrapping the base of the monotub from outside it.
wasnt sure how that would apply to fruiting in jars

It wouldn't. A liner inside the tub works but it doesn't need to be black or even opaque. Its nit that it blocks light its that it clings to the sub as it shrinks preventing a microclimate from forming. That micro climate is what creates the pins.
In bottles you can't do this but its really not a big deal. If you time your fruiting right you will barely get any for the first flush and by the second and third the sub will have shrunk enough to make it pretty simple to get em out. I use a long cheap serrated kitchen knife.
I am amassing lots of pp5 quart containers where you can remove the sub from it to get the side pins but, those containers are pricey and I have lots of jars already. While a mono looks impressive I can usually meet or exceed the yield a mono puts out with the fruited jars. Most people call em "bottles".

An aborted fruit is one that is basically dead. It happens either from trauma or poor conditions, or the substrate might not have enough water to support its development.
