I grafted, or at least I should say I ATTEMPTED 4 astrophytum grafts about 6 weeks ago. I thought every one of them did not take.... but just now this one shows sign of growth.... oh so slowly.

Thanks! That means a lot from you. It consistently stays 7 ribs. I keep cloning it because it is not only consistently 7 ribs but also huge. It might have some ornatum or capricorne genetics that make it big and seven ribbed, it's twice the size of the rest of my myriostigma at the same light levels.
And yeah Zed, that one graft seems to be some kind of capxasterias.

Ive come to thw conclusion i am not buying anymore. I will just breed what i have. I think i have good genetic stock to make some very lovely hybrids.

Well i popped on to say those three astro id been waiting for, that finally arrived, came with mealy bugs Never seen them before but is a few on them, ive been dabbing them with alcohol so im hopeful to kill them all before they spread.......

Never seen them before, on a plus, least i know what they look like now haha. Ive taken them away from the others, ill fully unpot today i think and go over them make sure i didnt miss any.

Mealies are luckily very easy to get rid of so I bet you did your job well and now you have 4 amazing lil babies to care for
