How do you record cell phone conversations?

Okay heres the deal I can't get into the legal stuff about this but basically I need to record the convesations between two people. One of the persons invloved in the conversation knows that the recording is going on (this in my state is legal, I have already checked). She wants it for her own protection, and to use it to dispute anything that this other person is saying to other people. Any help on this matter would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks.

well number one if youre trying to nark, karma will whack you with its karma sitck and itll be all over for you. with that being said, get a wireless car setup thing that puts the dudes vioce on a speaker, and tape record the whole thing, make sure you do a test run, to get the volumes right, before you do the actual thing.

Use an earpiece and split the signal between the speaker and recording device. The recording device shouldn't draw on too much power, and the earpiece should operate as normal.

Okay found out a low cost way to record cell convesations today. You need two things a mini voice recorder and a do-hicky ( it wont work with Nokia phones though) that they sell at Radio Shack. The minivoice recorder was only $30 bucks at Best Buy and the thing that goes from the recorder to the phone to your wireless headset was only $22. I tested it out and it works fine with minimal static.

You already said that your state allows recording in certain circumstances. Be very careful with this. I would honestly recommend speaking with a lawyer first, just to be safe. There may also be federal laws or things that you haven't thought of. It sounds like you need the recording for a reason... a lawyer will ensure that you do everything correctly and can use them for whatever reason it is that you need.

My work uses a program called voiceprint. Don't know any details on it, cept that they can listen to conversations and monitor them. Any kind of transmission, before you get a job they tell you that they have the right to monitor ALL phone calls in and out of the building including cell phones, radios, CB, and landlines. You can probably do a search on google and come up with something on it.

my new nokia comes with a call recording option. I'll use it someday to make my girlfriend look like a jackass.
