im not sure if i should wait for it to finish colonizing completely its been 2 weeks already , or should i remove the uncolonized parts and case right away

I'd keep the temps up there and see if you can get it to fully colonize. The last little bit is always the longest.  Looks good tho :smile:

Ditto. If it doesn't all colonize you have to pick off all the uncolonized straw....

didnt have any wrapping so i thought it would be the same just in side the tupper , cause its still in a dark place

the thing is this is kind of a recycled cake experimnent , i had 2 pf cakes and they started to dry and never pinned , so i whent and pasteurized some straw and after it was ready i put a leyr of straw in a tupperware  the crumbled the half dry cakes onto the straw and then covered it with some more straw and its been ther like 2 weeks , thats about it :laugh:

cool, ima try that when the equador cakes i am doing now become spent, prolly after 4 or 5 flushes if they are similar to the golden teachers i just finished eheheheheh
