Quarts Jars 2 Months Consolidated..
    #21254325 - 02/10/15 05:17 PM (9 years, 11 months ago)

Ok, let's  keep it simple if we can..

I have 6 Quart jars about 3/4 filled of fully colonized and due to my forgetfulness, 2 months consolidated rye berries.

I'd like a vote or at least some input...

1. Muthafukin Bottle Tek them in a SGFC?

2.  Break them up and scrape them out with a spoon/butter knife and spawn to bulk like normal?

3.  Any other ideas?

Thanks guys.

I'm in the same situation, but about 3 weeks ahead of where you're at. My jar was 4 months old, and I gave it to a friend to spawn to bulk. So far it's working perfect and everything looks 100% normal as if it weren't such an old jar. I'm hoping for mutants though

I had an extra qt jar of cambodians that I put in my sgfc. There were times when harvesting was a bitch (bottle necked qt jars) but I got some damn healthy shrooms of it and lots of them over time.  I just threw it out tonight after 3 1/2 months of fruiting.  When I cut the substrate open to get it out of the jar...it was white and healthy as could be.....but it was really slowing down lately.

I'm going with mono's for the next batch...inoculated 10 jars...7 pe and 3 maztapec.  I may have to grain to grain a pe jar if they don't all make it to spawn time.  If they do make it....I'll have 2 pe monos and 1 maz.

Sorry to bring this thread back up but a few days later I was reading through the Mudafukin Bottle Tek and realized he's using coir...

So since these are past due spawn jars full of rye berries and a pinch of gypsum will they still fruit in a SGFC from the jar??

Just do it.  My extra jar was colonized wbs...instead of shaking it....I took the lid off and put it in the sgfc...simple and it worked.
