Creating music on acid

I've been wanting to sit down and make some recordings of my playing while I'm tripping on acid, but for some reason I never want to when it comes time. For whatever reason, other things end up distracting me lol
I have messed around on my guitar while I was near the end of a comedown, and it was fairly productive in terms of my creative mindset, but I'm talking about when you're absolutely peaking and everything gets that amazing extra dimensional quality.
It would seem like it would work better if you were able to put together a jam session, dose, and then begin playing. I imagine that with other people playing the jam would start to evolve and flow really well as you came up, and then you'd be in that magical place while you were peaking.
The only problem is getting the people together and the actual event itself, finding a suitable place to both jam and trip would be quite a challenge.
Has anyone ever tried doing this before? Or do you use acid for just the ideas and inspiration, then apply them whilst sober?

The Merry Pranksters and the Grateful Dead used to do it all the time in San Francisco and environs beginning in the early sixties. They were called "Acid Tests" and books have been written about it. I feel sometimes, when I think about this shit, that I was either born too early, or too late.

Lol yeah I've heard about The Grateful Dead and how they are basically synonymous with acid but unfortunately I have never really listened to them tripping or even stoned. I've heard some of their stuff sober and I found it really hard to get into. I really like "Uncle John's Band" but a lot of their other stuff is too folk sounding for my taste. I prefer more rock based music like Beatles, Floyd, Zeppelin, Hendrix, Tool, etc.
Who knows though, maybe if I gave them a chance I'd really like them. There must be a good reason they have huge following

You can still always sit down on a Psilocin Magic Mushroom (4-ho-dmt) experience and write/record some music. Me and my buddies have done it here and there. The key is to mainly have your recording area setup already, don't have to do everything. Have your DAW already pulled up (if digitally recording), have the audio interface already all hooked up, microphones setup already to your liking, everything plugged in, and the other normals - Have drinks, food if potentially wanted/wanted during come-down, etc. If you *plan it all out correctly* recording while under the influence of a psychedelic substance can be very rewarding. Even if it's just to come up with ideas to work more on later, it can still be very rewarding. But I have recorded a few full tracks (metal-style, mostly -core stuff) while shrooming. I recorded my friend doing the guitars while he heard me do the drums, then once his guitars were down I went back and tracked the drums while I listened to his rhythm guitars. After that he tracked his leads, then I tracked the bass. The vocals would have to wait, but the instruments were all finished while we were peaking on shrooms. And the fruit of the experience was to listen to it afterwards whilst smoking a fat bowl of krip. (; I'd say go for it, just again, have everything pre-setup so you don't have to deal with all of that process once you're "there". Easier to just sit-down, make a few clicks, and begin.
