Contam?

So I just had a very successful first flush and just picked my bulk substrates but am left with a greenish blueish color mycelium in certain places...
It was PE strain so I dont think it is spores... Could the mycelium have come into contact with a contam and during the picking/first flush its immune system took a hit allowing it to take hold?
It doesn't look right to me, but Im wondering if it could also be normal for mycelium to change to this color as it ages after a flush?

Thanks for any help!

Just looks like a stressed out sub. It's dry after you picked it.
Give it a good misting until you see very slight pooling water over the next few days and it'll bounce back to life.

Looks like very minor bruising to me just mist or funk in between flushes

I don't suggest dunking between flushes, a misting is better to initiate second flush.
You could waterlog your bulk substrate dunking on the second since it has plenty of moisture and it'll stall out on the third.

I wrote up a whole post and remembered it was you Flabber ,
Long story short I dunked some subs, got second flushes and then they couldn't produce a third, asked around and general consensus was don't dunk after first flush, just mist it and a htird is easier to induce.
Being a noob also I cracked my sub first dunk and got a diminished second on my GT. If I had misted, like I was told, I would have gotten a great second flush and probably a good third. Cracking is easier to do when dunking so noobs should mist their subs so they get at least two flushes and then dunk.
If you like dunking after that then dunk every flush, but misting works just as well. When I brought up my lack of a third flush I think it was PurePleasure and PirateSwazey that told me that.

That's just bruising. It looks very dry. I dunk after ever flush. It's not 100% necessary with mono tubs but I have noticed enough of a difference in yields to make it worth while.

Again...thanks guys, haven't had a flush yet, but that let's me know that "my" field capacity was too dry.
Also, please check back, I have WBS consolidated jar pics loading, 3 weeks in and a good shake, let me know if it's time to tub.

Dunking is so easy though. Pull the liner back, pour water in, wait an hour or 2, drain, put back in fruiting. I used to put rods in my monotub holes to hold the sub down, yada yada...but now I just use the tribal dunk pretty much. I think it's worth it...I've tried just misting too. I like to dunk after the 1st flush and mist after the 2nd if I want to go for a 3rd. Usually by the 3rd flush though I don't care about it anymore.
