poo straw ratio?

i was planning to spawn to straw, but i have heard that adding in "poo" helps produce more flushes(more nutrients) by poo what do people mean? does horse manure work? what is the ratio of poo-straw i have just spent a while looking and couldent find in in the "main site"? you know the mushroom cultivation section on the first page you get to. anyways thanks

dry horse manuer is fine. most like 30%poo/70%straw.

everyone's got their preferences. mine depends on how fresh the poo is.

if it's really fresh, i use 10:1 straw to poo.

if it's totally aged and leeched to the point of being light and golden in color, i use no straw at all.
