habitat:
Suburban manicured lawn beneath birch trees.

Gills
Whitish pores

Stem:
6" thick, fiborous brownish bits and off-white

Cap
4", Brown/tan, somewhat conical to nearly flat

Spore print color:
Left them there

Bruising:
Unknown

Other information:
Am thinking Boletus Sp. But am very new to this genus.

The first on is something in the genus Leccinum. Might be something like L. scabrum.

The second pic looks like a different mushroom.

Thank you for that ... Leccinum Are totally new to me.
Looks like some choice edibles in that genus.
Will circle back in the fall and see if they're there.
