Just take out the polyfill.

Take off the top too. It'll destroy the environment. Give it a few hours and it'll recede. If not then damn. The thing about the KSSS spaceships is they're real finicky because if you don't give them all the FAE they want the myc crawls up and chokes them out. Really annoying and takes some work.

That's why I stopped recommending KSSS to new members

Lol that dudE cracks me up, thanks a bunch!

So... the fuzz has won. Tons of new pins but nearly 75% are wrecked from it.  This makes me sad. Gave a full 5 hour FAE blast last night and then replaced the poly and what not.
What's after FAE blast, trash can? Lol can I pick em and scrape the fuzz?

I'm sure these guys will still pack quite a punch though.
:vibin:

I mean, it it fuzz as in cobweb contamination; Or is it just the normal fuzz that is sometimes at the base of a fruitbody? If it's the normal fuzz than I;d harvest, dry all of them and put them to good use.

Yeah, just the myc fuzz. I figured on scraping off the fuzz then dry. I picked a bunch today

It was overwhelming at first but get guys like pasty, cronic, and Gyo and suck on their brains, man, and you'll make it alright.  I just got unlucky with my FAE and temp swings.

Hopefully next week I'll have two more tubs to parade around

I feel like this could be the end of the tub and the end of this thread. My Tub seems irreversibly fucked unless someone knows how to fix it. Its throwing a ton of new pins but all the established ones are fuzz/blue/pitted. Appreciate all the help and advice you guys. Will probably have another thread or perhaps journal.

imo sometime you get fuzz even if conditions are perfect, maybe its just a genetic factor with some substrains.
i wouldnt give up on it if its not contaminated.
i would just pick the bigger ones when they slow down growing and eat them anyway and then hope they next flush is better
you have come this far so might aswell give it a shot it might surprise you!
i wish you good luck whatever you decide to do

You're the man bob. I'll keep trying but what can I do about the bluing and dark spots?

Specifically that one with pitting in The upper right. Contam?

after a second look there is alot going on in that tub
trillions of pins wonder if it is from a stress response due to contams...

by dark spots do you mean the blue bruising?

can you get a closer pic at the dark spots and pitting?

if there is not contams visible all you can do is carry on and hope after pulling the bigger ones and redial the tub in, the next flushes sort themselves out and if they dont or you do find contam then think about tossing.

i wouldnt worry about bruising (unless it gets worse then it maybe a sign your sub in drying out) when you redial the tub in the myc should recover in better conditions

even if they dont get better dont sweat it sometimes fuzz happens in perfect conditions and to any strain

Up close of the worst one.  Should I pick em all and let God sort em out?

Let the pins take over?  Someone told me a little peroxide spritz but that seems off.
