Large grain cakes. Should they be dunked and rolled?

Say, a quart of rye grain colonized in tupperware.
Should these be dunked and rolled in verm?
If they are to be fruited as mega-cakes?

grain doesnt fruit so well on its own. A casing is preferred...idk about dunking them as ive never done it. Maybe someone else will weigh in :shrug:

EDIT- If you plan on fruiting as big cakes i would go ahead and saaaay....yes

If you're fruiting straight grains I would definitely dunk/case. You're going to have very low moisture content. Just fill your tupperwear container up with water and let it sit for a few hours, then case.

Trust me, grain fruits well enough on it's own.
And this KISS tek is just right for some people.
