Are you ready to raise this emu? They sound tough. Like no litter box? I pass.
Emus:

-Their legs are among the strongest of any animal, allowing them to rip metal wire fences.

-heir calls consist of loud booming, drumming, and grunting sounds that can be heard up to 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) away.

-Emus sleep during the night, and begin to settle down at sunset, although it does not sleep continuously throughout the night.

Emu. What a ridiculous name for a black Chocobo

Hatch that stuff OP, once it grows up you can actually ride it, then sky's the limit :bananahorsey:

yeah, fuck it. Already bought it. The way i see it is that it'll be a fun project for me and the kids around the house might enjoy it too. Once it gets too big to keep around the house, ill pass it off to a friend of mine whome owns a ranch. Ither that or put it on criagslist. Ither way, its fun to do these kinds of things. May get a few chickens or ducks soon, too.

What are you going to do with the eggshells?

I hope you glue them with neon-colored rainbow glue and make a pimpin' lamp or piece of art out of em.

Something between this:

And this:

Now obviously you can't drill round holes in those shells with a Dremel, but surely some ideas will show themselves if you keep an open mind. Glue them back with transparent silicone, then let the light from the egg-lamp shine just through the cracks and glue. Or do eggs get soft come hatching-time, to allow the chocobo to come on out? Would totally suck for the whole egg-lamp idea :strokebeard:

I would think twice about having this thing in your house with your kids.

haha man that's funny. I buy random shit too on ebay! I've been scoping artifacts recently. So interesting. Ancient shit you can own. basically become a mini museum. They got roman antiquities, viking, chinese, egyption, and every culture. Mayan sculptures! I'm sure many are great investments too.

I wonder if that emu egg is fertilized. The reason chicken eggs you but don't hatch is because they are never fertilized. Not sure how emu's work. I'm gonna do some research and peep ebay. If that thing fucking hatches it will be like some Jurassic park shit!

Yep, they sell them fertilized haha right now 2 for 80$. That's crazy shit! I wish they kangaroos weren't marsupials.

for like 1200 EU you can own some Ancient Pre Columbian Nazca Culture Fertility Erotic Figures 200 BC

They do have plenty of replicas you just need to read the description and make sure they have some connection and authenticity. That specific figure is an antique dealer with accreditation. Usually low price means they are replicas. You are going to have to pay a hefty price for something thousands of years old!! haha

I've purchased fine art off eBay and it was certified authentic by a art dealer. Pretty cool!

posting for hatching

also off topic - pablo escobar had a private zoo basically in colombia i think it was, and when he was killed they dealt with all of the exotic animals except for the hippos...they didnt know what to do with them, so they let them just chill....eventually they broke out and their population went up and now they have random hippos roaming that area of colombia wreaking havoc  i saw a documentary on it on animal planet

Well we can have chickens in my county and they sell chicken eggs online. Might make a coupe and raise a few chickens for the eggs! hehe. Or a peacock they have those eggs too on ebay.

It ain't the Peacocks you Gotta worry about they just walk around like a bunch of guidos with gold chains. It's the Peahens those evil bitches will peck the shit outa ya. Imagine being 8 and being attacked by a bird the size of a turkey When you try to give it some corn. Like a middle aged Dago club girl who's had 1 too many Sambucas. :brushrage:
But the make up sex was awesome
