Days before inoculation after sterilization

I was wondering if I could wait 4-5 days after I sterilized my jars before inoculating them if I kept them sealed that whole time or would that be too long?

it should be fine... ive waited a week. But as said above, the longer there is no myc the more time contams have to colonize the sterile jars. It's always best to use them as soon as possible. If however, you need to wait I would reccomend leaving the foil on so you have little to no GE until you inoculate.

Refrigerating them would keep contams at bay I think

Totally fine... sometimes I won't get around to some jars or bags for a month after I make them.
If you wait too long the top grains will start to dry out but nothing to worry about @ 4-5 days.
