so i PC a few 5 lb grain bags yesterday 2+1/2 hours @15 pci
I put a cotton t shirt in the PC like i always do i put some lid spacers down and put the bags ontop of them. Today i go to knock them up and they were melted to the tshirt. feck.
im all out of filterpatch bags and i have 10 pounds of grain in the bottom of my PC. I guess im gona load up jars.
:shrug: i guess it ran out water.

That's why i put a lot more water than you guys do. I put water in until the jars almost float because I've ruined 2 pc's in the past from running out of water. Sure, it takes longer to get to pressure, but that's the only disadvantage.

usually i have plenty of water in my pc when im done,This time i even added a lil extra.I dont know but maybe it has something to do with my 50degree house?
edit- and i ran it closer to 14 PSI every time the nubin was rockin i lowerd the heat till it just hardly moved.

Weird. I've ran it so the rocker is going like crazy for 90 minutes and with the rocker only moving a few times a minute. Never ran out of water.

i like to PC@ 14 for a lil longer because the sound of that rocker drives me nuts
