I've been wanting to get a good speaker that can hook up to my mp3 devices. I'd like one that has booth bluetooth and headphone jack options and also battery and plug in options.
Help me out here pub.
I don't wanna spend a shitload. Maybe around $100 or so. Might spend more depending.

I got my iSound Pyramid Speaker for $30 at TJmax. bluetooth, but also has aux. I'm pleasantly surprised at how well it sounds and how good the bass is for $30

Yukon Gold is a popular one, but a good roasted French Fingerling is hard to beat. Russian Banana is a good one too. A good Russet is also hard to beat.

I heard a lot of good things about the Divoom Voombox. Not sure if it has an AUX input though.

If you go through the rest of the list I posted there's quite a few really good speakers on there that fit your budget.

I got a Sony SRS X-5 for around $120, but I have not seen a sale like that since. It is normally $200 and in that price range, I would go Bose.
You can get decent sound out of the $100-ish speakers but bass will almost always be lacking. If bass is important be be prepared to spend a bit more.

This piece of shit is quite good and has bluetooth. The only drawback is you always just wish the bastards had made it a massive bouncy ball, BUT THEY DIDN'T.
It's like $28 or something.

Friends of mine make them, you can hook em up and it keeps getting louder and louder. I have one, they really are loud and clear. You make your own rig if you hook enough of these puppies up

This is a trick question, there are no good, portable mp3 speakers.

True. Some are better than others.
$100 is a tough price point. Lots of options though, none great.

Bose is shit.
I have no idea how much it costs but one of my friends has this turtle one that's pretty good, it's waterproof, shock resistant, pretty rugged little thing. It's also loud and clear; doesn't distort at the highest volume. LOL the day he got it and said it was waterproof I immediately picked it up and went to the sink, turned it on and looked over and said, "So if I do THIS (and put it under the running faucet) nothing bad happens right?" The look he had on his face

Depends on what you want. Rugged costs. So does sound. Can't get both. Not at that price.

I have this one. its sounds pretty good and I like that it has a rechargable battery built in. lasts about 3-4 hours. Mine is for ipod4 and lower and also has a minijack aux. I think it was around 60$ at costco

Thanks for the advice guys. After doing a little non shroomery research I decided to spend a little more and went with the UE Boom. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ue-boom-portable-bluetooth-speaker-black/8914779.p?id=1218952082662&skuId=8914779
It sounds pretty damn good.

Very nice.
Looks sleek and all the reviews seem like one of the best choices out there.
