I am against the deletion of OTD material, and we are discussing this issue. I don't think we will delete it, as it represents part of our history. I think we will strive to make a public archive out of it, so it is available for all, but I can't guarantee this yet...

What the RainbowKitten said. At the current time the overall sentiments are for archiving of past OTD material - but as stated, this is still being debated.

One idea you might want to consider is to pick a team of people to go in and select a number of threads worth saving. I'd make the team up of OTD regulars who considered the forum's "hay day" to be at different times and let them look through that "hay day".

Um, actually that thread also needs to be unlocked too so that it may be bumped sometime in the future for other people to see. Admins, I think it was misinterpereted at the time as a "mod bashing" thread and mistakenly locked. It's just an old thread that was bumped for people to read, it should not have been locked along with the other threads, please unlock it it's cool. Notice I said "please", maybe that will make a difference. :thumbup:

delete the old stuff...if u want, and could give me some sort of access i would start going through otd and deleting all threads with under 10 replies, or under 20 replies or something..ive got lots of free time :wink:

It is hard to gauge the specific size of off-topic discussion. Text-wise, it occupies approximately 385/859mb.. but this is an estimate* and of course does not account for images and the like that are uploaded by users to use in the forum.
