Few questions about LI

So I've done my first LI innoc and all is well although I think either I used too much water or one plate wasn't enough as I didn't feel my Li was "chunky" enough. What's the ratio everyone has been using?
Also I'm worried that I may be pouring too much in and leaving my bags too wet for bacteria.
Any tips tricks and advice for LI would be greatly appreciated.
FYI I put a whole agar plate in 1/2-3/4 pint of water for my Li.

The thicker LI will recover faster IME. I kinda prefer it a little chunky too, those seem to leap off faster and harder. But your still fine, might take an extra day or two to see recovery but it will still recover.

So am I supposed to be using all my LI in one sitting and/or throwing it out or can it safely just be stored in the jar with blender assembly, gasket, and jar ring?

If you have a syringe I'd make a syringe out of it.
Idk about storing it though, that's a good question.

I would be sketch about storing it but I don't like keeping liquid suspended cultures around any longer than I need to.

I think Muda and Inoc were saying they only kept LIs around for a month before tossing. Also if you plan on long-term storage I'd use distilled water instead of tap.

Eh it doesn't take but a few minutes to make a new one so I'll just make make small chunky batches when need be. What's everyone's recovery/jump off time like? My first few innocs so far have gone quite slow.
Very whispy growth too just like using an LC. Takes a min to recover but does so all at once.

I got some PESA to recover in 2 days. The trick is blending so it's small enough to be spread out but large enough that you haven't damaged it too much.

How long are you pulsing/blending for?
I got recovery kinda after 2-3 days where I could see this whispy myc but it took a while after that to ramp up any.
