I think they should allow the Butthurt Crybaby Thread back into the Pub. It was a well-conceived idea, and generated quite a bit of discussion and interesting and intelligent discourse concerning the social ramifications of Butthurt. It was kind of the go-to thread when everyone was bored.

There seems to be an exponential curve: The older I get, the more I realize how boring most people are.
Then I take acid and stop caring so much about judging others and being judged by them.

It is probably different from you, but I go through phases where I am extremely weirded out by the Pub and shroomery in general. I like to get stoned and bullshit on here, but them sometimes I get embarrassed about dumb things, or just feel like it is a big waste of time. When I first made an account I remember I would look at the Pub and be like 'this is lame', but look at me now. Its pretty much all I do here now, and sometimes I am on reading dumb stuff for most of a day. It passes the time, and it is more engaging than alot of stuff I do like watch TV and play video games.
I usually just take a break when it bugs me out. No need to announce it either, one of the nice things about forums is you can come and go as you please and nobody really will make a big deal. Sometimes it is a couple hours, sometimes I leave for months and months, but I always come back.
