All in one grow bags and fruting chambers
    #21206069 - 01/31/15 09:35 AM (9 years, 3 months ago)

I recently inoculated several all-in-one grow bags from out-grow.
These are the bags with sterilized rye berries on the bottom and horse manure as the top layer.  I'd like to maximize my yield as much as possible and though about opening the bags and placing them into a shotgun fruiting chamber once they began to pin.    Any reason not to do this?  If not, should I let them pin in the bag and then move them to the fruiting chamber?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Nah man dont grow them in those bags, you are on the right idea yeah. Let them colonize 100%, then either cut off the top of the bag and fruit it or take the whole thing out and fruit it in your sgfc.

Might need to dunk the cake when ready

A SGFC will always be better at pinning and fruiting than a bag.

Those bags that they sell to people and tell them to fruit out of are usually made with a GE filter for colonizing, but not for FAE, which is what you want.

GE=gas exchange and FAE= fresh air exchange
