Music for a lonely shroomer.

All my tripping partners are gone. Either they've got families now, they've moved, dissipated, abducted by aliens, whatever... I'm alone now so my trips are just me and my stereo. I'm in the South Seattle area if there are any other like souls out there. So now I'm on the hunt for mushroom friendly music to add to my collection. My current library is at about 6500 tracks and I want more. I have a very eclectic and varied taste in music with only a few rules. No trance, psy-trance, or dubstep. No Pink Floyd, Beatles, or any popular radio driven classic rock. And if I hear another Shpongle track I'm gonna pick up a car and throw it into the ocean. All else is fair game, Stoner rock, break core, Euro Dance, experimental, folk rock, future shock, noise rock, Hip Hop, banjo, choral, drone, pop, soul, indie, synth pop, space rock, sculpture, post metal, ect. Thx

Not sure about boomers, but this song on lsd is soooooooooooooooooo right.
Also this
The name for this song really correlates with it's effects haha. Smoke a j while peaking and listen to this, it is really expansive and invigorating.
I have thousands of incredible electronic songs that I want to make my perfect playlist and candy flip with a friend. Haven't taken x since 2008 but I remember the energy for music it gave you. That, in combo with LSD, could be aweseom!

My current favorites are Wookiefoot and Rusted Root. Wookiefoot's vibes and lyrics can be life-changing while sober, and are extremely shroom friendly. Rusted root is more of an acid-type feel to me but still super cool.

Yup, Been a fan since the beginning. First album came out same day as Metallica's Black Album. Everyone else at the record store was gettin Metallica. I was there for Mr. Bungle, haha. I have em all, even the rare demos. I used to have a first print of the tractor in my balls shirt with the two tone "B" on the back.

I listen to jazz music from old school artists like John Coltrane , miles Davis , I Also like classical oldies & orchestra music. Emiliinana torrilini has an amazing voice.
Some of the Bay Area rap is pretty dope , same with certain Italian/Spanish music.
I never understood psy-trance, or dub-step , its just weird lol

Haha cool. I listen to Glass Animals a lot myself, and it gives a very tribal feeling to my trips. I didn't recommend it just because it is just such a different sound, but I swear I must listen to ~5 of their songs ~20 times a day haha.
My last trip was back in late november and I remember lying on a sleeping bag while listening to a remix of gooey and it was just the most beautiful thing. The sounds in their music really carry an upbeat, almost electric feeling and the slower lyrics allows you to really visually imagine what he's singing. Highly recommended.

Try some Radiohead. OK Computer, In Rainbows, or The Bends are good albums for a trip. Boards of Canada is good too, +1 for naykid. Pink Floyd is another must.
I am a huge Type O Negative fan and might give that a listen on shrooms. Could be a little too dark for the setting, though. What do you guys think?

If you reach out you might find some trippers bud. I am older and work in a "professional" environment, so had almost given up on finding the others. I was working with a colleague for a few weeks and one day just decided to tell him i'm into psychedelics. I just didnt really think anything bad would come of it, worse case scenario he would think less of me. Right off the bat he turns around and tells me there are three other guys in our facility (all in their 30s) that are into the same thing. 2 weeks later we tripped together. I think people just get quieter about it, but drug use spans all generations these days you just gotta take that leap and tell people what you are into.
