Seems like forever when you have 1 thing going on. Patience is essential to success in this hobby.

mushrooms are quick. Growing weed takes time; and it smells up your neighborhood when your waiting. edit- but yes growing mushrooms did teach younger me some patients

The mushroom can sense the patience of it's grower. If you are impatient, the mushroom will make you patient. If you are already patient, they will reward your disposition. Remember that patience is sour, but its fruit is sweet. I forget who said that first.

Yes I love that saying its grapes. Lol however first time grow and I want to reap the fruits of my labor so bad. My wife has never dosed before and I can't wait. Right now I'm at this stage of I'm tired of getting my hopes up so I'm like o well it will happen when it happens. So looking forward to seeing beautiful GT rise up from its cake.
Since all the jars colinize at diffrent times I only have one beautiful cake in FC. U THINK THAT WILL BE ENOUGH FOR 2 PEOPLE?

If you only have one cake I wouldn't hold your breath for enough for two people to dose.
Get moving on to bigger stuff while you're waiting on that thing so that you're not bored or disappointed by small failures.
Also I thought patience was bitter? I like sour flavors sometimes.

This. I usually have so much happening I am putting shit in cold rooms or the fridge to slow it down. I believe in having far more spawn on hand than I could possibly use. Sometimes I throw it away. I have also given jars of spawn to people. I am about to dump a pint of clean LC down the drain cause its a little old and there is no way I am going to use it in the next week

Sometimes I throw projects away cause I don't have time to deal with them. Like today I am considering pitching out a half gallon of fully colonized oats. Why? Cause most of my monos are full and I don't want to set up my SGFC cause I barely have room for the stuff I do have. The other monos not in use yet have higher priority projects getting spawned on Mon or Tues. So it either goes in the fridge which is so full of cultures that I would need to toss 25 of them to make room or the trash. Trash will probably win.
If your bored with waiting start a new project

Yes I think once I have a system down and keep on going the wait won't be so bad. Or when I have a jar full of shrooms waiting will be no prblem .
