rubbermaid sealing tek

I was having a hard time keeping my humidity level up inside of rubbermaid fruiting chamber. the lid was pretty leaky. so I grabbed 2 black plastic garbage bags and laid them over the top edge of the container. then I placed the lid on top and closed it. my humidity has been 5-7% up since. hope this helps someone out there.

You could also put weatherstripping around the edge of the rubbermaid top to form a nice seal when you snap on the lid :thumbup:

Plexiglass works wonders too.

what about glass, like a large picture or poster frame, would that work well, and what are some other sealing options

glass should work just as well as plexiglass-I don't see any reason why it shouldn't.
A clear top rubbermaid IMO is easiest and will give a nice tight seal.
