compost/dung with biosolids
    #2116968 - 11/17/03 02:45 PM (20 years, 5 months ago)

after receiving no assistance in the general mushroom cultivation forum, i have decided to re-post it here instead.

will a bag of steer manure mixed with composted biosolids (sewege sludge) work for cultivation? seems to be the only type i can find in retail stores in this area..

sewage sludge from where? You dont to put any "dung" in there from a meat eating animal. As far as meat eating, i am referring to where the sewage came from, not the steers.. .

im not sure where it came from exactly. all it says on the label is "grade a composted biosolids".. and i'll find out if it works relatively soon.

I never heard of it. Try it and report the results.
Good luck.
