Sequoia Sempervirens

Sequoia sempervirens, or The "Forever living" Redwood tree.. is what surrounds me.
Live oaks and pine trees too. But no alder or anything Psilocybe loving.
What species should i look for in the wild. N. Califorina.

I am not around Urban enviroments so Cyanescens and Allenii and everything the Bay Area Actives find, i cant.

I have been searching for pholita and Panelous' as of lately.
What fungi should i be searching for in the redwoods?
Whats dominate?
Being in the only place in the world with redwood trees is hard sometimes out and about, i feel like alot of this enviroment still has more to be understood.

Do you mean Pholiota, why would you be looking for those?
There is not any known active species in that genus.

In redwoods in California, you will find lots of Hygrocybe, Lepiota and Pseudobaeospora.

There is also Caulorhiza umbonata, which I suspect is edible.

Pardon me, why that could be an unfortunate mistake.
I really meant to express was /Pluteus_salicinus?
Anyway
Manzanitas and the high Ph level from the acid in the redwoods make some beautiful environments and Mosses an such, but bad for actives /:
