sporeworks equador: should i raise hell?
    #2119541 - 11/18/03 11:20 AM (20 years, 4 months ago)

i just recieved my equador syringe and it is completely clear. Im sure theres some spores in there, but i was under the impression that they were to put in enough to notice deposits or coloration of some kind. im gonna shoot my bags up, but this syringe shit seems like bad business. what does the all knowing community think?

I think you should introduce yourself to Ralphster.

Clear is fine. Inoculate with the syringe first. If nothing happens, complain to Sporeworks. If they do nothing, come back here and raise some hell.

Sporeworks is a reputable vendor and they sell good stuff.

I've seen my best results from clear looking syringes.

There are many reasons for people to use as few spores as possible.... but the main one is this: it spreads the print further.

So in a nutshell, wait and see what happens, or you'll feel bad for raising hell.

I feel compelled to thank the community, for simply existing, in every one of my posts. You know what im going to be thankful for this thanksgiving!

Have ordered 2 syringes from sporeworks. B+ and PR's. Both are very clear. They do contain spores. Not the HIGHEST concentration. They work just gotta use a lil more solution in each jar. B+'s took forever to colonize though. ADVICE= Ralphster  GL

Please keep us posted. Good thing you didn't pay Sporebank prices.

As for Deebo, I'm getting the feeling b+ are just slow... no matter where you get 'em.

there is no need to worry about a clear syringe, unless it has no spores in it.

dark syringes can be counter productive. the more spores you have germinating in your substrate, the more substrains you will have growing. these substrains will spend energy competing with eachother, which is not in your best interest.

And I can guarantee you no one from Sporeworks is going to say shit in this post.  Why?  Because they're not Ralphster.

Ralph is a quality vendor. So is Sporeworks. So is The Hawks Eye.

If you get into mycology, I recomend trying multiple vendors. They each have their own good and bad qualities... but they all have viable spores.

Its fine that it is clear, hold it up to the light you should be able to see tiny clumps of spores floating around. The Equador syringe i ordered from sporeworks was just fine. Peace.

Clear syringes are fine.

Rememeber, spores are microscopic.  So they are very, very, very, VERY hard to see with the human eye  Most spores that you see are really clumps of thousands of spores stuck together.

Clear syringes are generally no better than "dark" ones.

One spore prints contains  MILLIONS of spores.

Go inoculate your substrate.  If you see little white fuzzy stuff growing, you're A-otay!

I got two Amazonian syringes from Sporeworks (they were generally clear but you could see tiny clumps of spores) and injected my one-pint jars. They were done colonizing in just over two weeks.
