Help with Autoclave Bags (for PCing)

I can't figure out how to use these damn things.

Before they came, I figured they would be sealable...but once they arrived, I realized they are open, with no method to seal them included.

Someone said just fill them up, put them in the PC, and put a weight on top of them....but wont water get into it then?

you need to get an impulse sealer or something similiar. you can also fill the things up then sqeeze alot of the air out then use a lighter to melt (seal) the opening.

you can also fold the top down twice and use electrical tape after they cool and after you have knocked them up.

you dont seal the bags till AFTER PCing! just roll the top over and put the weight on top. honestly ive only done it once but it worked out great. as for sealing it AFTER pcing i just use electrical tape like automan said

I seal them before so they stay sterile. I just do two bags per run and put the canning rack on top....
