Pepsi/Coke is so much more addictive than you might think 3

This pop thing is pure poison. And just like every poisons out there, it grab your soul by the balls.
I was crashing earlier today, around noon. I was depressed. I had 0 energy, I wanted to sleep and I didn't know why. That's until I realized that I didn't drink my can of Pepsi I usually drink with lunch. So of course I remedied the situation and suddenly I'm in good shape again...
Anybody else on this website that can't seem to shake their soft drink habit?

I hate soda and try to stay away from it if I can. That Coke shit is literally all my dad drinks, no juice, no water. Just Coke. And he wonders why he feels like shit all the time...

Growing up all I drank was soda. Never water or juice, just soda. I'm not quite as fat as you'd expect for someone who did that, I guess I had a high metabolism. When I got into dieting and exercise I cut off soda completely as that is like the polar opposite of getting fit and healthy.
I quit the exercise but never really picked the soda back up. I still have one, almost daily (4 times a week?), but only a 20 oz and I never really finish it.
I used to drink them straight out of a 2 liter or go through a dozen+ cans a day.
I don't drink healthy still.. My liquid intake is either Gatorade or Beer mostly. I use the Gatorade to get rid of the hang over from the beer. I usually try to chug or 2 of the big bottles over night and through the next morning. I do drink water now (never used to) but really only at work.
It was a hard habit to kick, but I did do it. And I'd say consider what I used to take in, I'm still pretty successful in having kicked that habit.
But for me, a soda with a meal is just as good as beer with a meal. Which I choose really depends on what I'm eating. For instance, beer and pizza sucks as a combo. But damned if that soda doesn't taste glorious after finishing off a slice of pizza.

I've switched to apple juice. It's cheap, and has some redeeming qualities.
The Kroger down the road sells dry ice. I could buy a couple pounds, and carbonate my juice with it, I guess.

That sounds like a terrible idea lol.. Of course I don't know what method you're planning to do, but dry ice is not nice stuff even externally. I used to play with that shit all the time. Who needs fire crackers when you have dry ice and an empty soda bottle. Sounds like a bomb going off.
Also you might wanna look into it. I dunno if things change once you're and adult but drinking tons of apple juice for children is pretty bad. That's all we gave my son when he was 2 or so.. Kinda thought it'd be good for him, turns out it's not such a good idea. (He would not drinking water no matter what we did.)

You don't put the lid on when you use it for carbonation.

So then you're just drinking juice with dry ice as ice cubes?
Yeah, bad idea. Accidentally swallow one tiny chunk and you're gonna do some damage to your throat or stomach. Ever pick up a piece? imagine not being able to drop it after a few seconds.
I got the smart idea to take a hammer to it once and it rained down shards.. It was like 3x what walking into a fire ant hill felt like.

I used to drink a can of pepsi daily but that shit was fucking with my health. Now I make my own juice out of kale, spinach, carrots, apples, blueberries and hemp proteins.
I feel like a god now.

You don't drink it until all the dry ice is gone.
This isn't something I've invented myself. They have brochures that tell you what you can do with dry ice. Carbonation is one of them.

That's an interesting idea, why do people bash soda and not coffee? What's the difference? I drink soda (1 per day) for the caffeine.

It's not just the sugar or just the caffiene.
It's the carefully balanced combination that Pepsi offers that got me hooked.

Just the excessive sugar intake really. I can't stand the taste of diet sodas myself, and I go through a lot of caffeine throughout the day. If I still drank soda, I'd be drinking like 4-6 cans per day. Instead I just pop a 200 mg caffeine pill when I wake up and drink water. Have been doing so for the last 5 months or so.
I like coffee too, but all the same I make it sugary and full of junk.
