credit is by far the wiser choise for internet transactions or really any sale where you do not immediately receive your goods. a debit removes the equivalent of cash from your account and is VERY hard to replace in the event of fraud. any cc worth it's salt has a decent level of fraud protection not to mention that your bank account does not IMMEDIATELY suffer in the event of card theft which could possibly cause NSF fees. so, overall my opinion is that there uses for each. also, i highly prefer cash as my currency.

Cash is the way to go for sure.
But I'll take debit over credit any day. Fraud or not.

Definitely a good point about the fraud though. Debit is
probably better suited to those who have trouble managing
their money so they won't overspend themselves as easily.
All payment methods have their benefits and drawbacks.. I'm
a fan of plastic though, debit or credit :cool:
