Does anyone have links to a dialed in greenhouse tek? I've searched for one but didn't find anything solid. Any tips would be appreciated. I have a homeedics ultrasonic/cool mist humidifier that I rigged a hose to so I can run it where ever I want. Will that work? should I rig the hose on the top of the gh to flow downwards? Timer cycles? Etc.? Thanks

You need a decent hygrometer that can be calibrated in order to determine how much (read: how little) running of your humidification is necessary to keep near-100% humidity. Here's just an example From there, you'll probably need to modify a common 30-minute interval timer to become a short-interval timer. This is surprisingly easy, I found.
It can be a bit tricky to determine how to place the humidification for your greenhouse. Being loaded up with trays/blocks/containers can restrict the airflow and thus the spread of your humidification.
If you have a mist-producing humidifier like an ultrasonic, the mist settles unless you have SOMETHING mixing it into the air. Without, it will saturate the surface of your substrates and the greenhouse floor. Combining an ultrasonic humidifier with a fan allows you to use far shorter runs (requiring fewer refills) to have 100% humidity with no water pooling on subs or floors! It also allows you to place the humidifier in the bottom. Try turning the fan upwards at an angle, mixing the humidification
If you have a humidifier that is kindof like an ultrasonic with a fan built in, such as the Vicks v4500, you can pipe that in from the outside no problem with excellent results. It ideally provides air exchange as well as humidification. You can use a regular timer unmodified to provide a 30-minute cycle every hour or two, depending on how it goes for you.
You can combine the use of an ultrasonic on a short cycle with a cool-mist running all or most of the time. The cool mist piped in will gently exchange air without plummeting humidity, but will call for the ultrasonic humidifer to somewhat regularly bump the humidity up to near-saturation where the cool mist's airflow will mix the droplets into the air with little effort. In such an instance I recommend piping the cool mist in from the bottom and having the ultrasonic near where it pipes in on the bottom.
