Came home for a couple of days to check on the projects going right now. Picture dump.
Some pf pucks from agar and swabs. The 1 pan Brooks, 2 pan Wild Coast and 3 starry night agar pucks are taking off. The swabs are taking a minute to decide. Day 10 from inoculation.
All of my LAGM germ and t1 plates and a closer view of the t1s. Day 18 germ & t1 day 10 from transfer.
My best looking starry nights on plates to date. These will go to grain soon. Day 10 from transfer.
Pans on t1. Think I will put them to grain as well because my pretty pan plates have done nothing after many transfers and some ugly ones fruited well, so I guess anything could happen. Of course I will take t2s before sending them. Day 10 from first transfer.
Back up plates to Lions mane, Mexicana chicon nindo already in jars below. Day 10 from transfer.
Jack Frost and tamp t1 that need some more work before grain. Day 10 from first transfer.
All grain jars are 10 days from inoculation and they were prepped 120 days ago on 2023-09-19.
Lions mane looking whispy as usual, Mexican Chicon Nindo looks happy.
All new pans to me. Pan Bunnell, Komodo & Kona.
Time to update LAGM, but wanted to share a few other projects in the works.

Kind of a cheat mode to jump start things. I have these genetics on plates as well. They didn't look great so I thought I would try this to get a hardier bit of myc, or if I am lucky, an in vitro pin.

Rev I've been doin the same. It's working nicely for pan clones for me, much better than water agar was. I'm happy to see I may have even gone too thin when making the pucks too, I won't have to be so shy next time.
Ovoid grain from the same donor recovering.(idk if I'm really just wasting dowels or what here, but they've just been sitting around for a while)

I just took a t2 of my ovoid myc. Sending to grain in a week or two. Do you have success fruiting indoors?

Some PE just starting to pop. My usual ratio is 1:3 but decided to see what would happen if I doubled it and went 1:6. Nothing too drastically different apart from it taking its sweet ass time to colonise!

EniQma I've never attempted indoor fruiting, but none of my outdoor patches have fruited yet either. I did spawn a bit of this same donor jar to a box of straw/potting soil/hwfp/manure/coir, so im hoping i can at least toss it outside if it comes to that.
