Speaking of large averys, I found ONE, in a clone hunt of about 50-60 quarts of spawn. Got it on grain now. Super excited

What I'm working on now. 1 qt soup containers that came with lids absolutely dirt cheap. Each quart container has 1/3 quart of WBS or oats. The rest of the capacity is CVG. They get mixed and shaken then a top layer is applied. I'm going to start using more CVG so the top layer is flush with the rim to maximize pinning surface. One is missing in the picture but 16 can fit in my monotub. So combined it's 6 quarts of spawn. Will be interesting to see what the BE ends up being. Because of the depth there should be plenty of hydrated coir for the fruits and if RR is right about how nutritious coir is then hopefully these fruit big bundles of joy.
Some of the bags I've put into monotubs now after they started to pin and grow so they'd get plenty of FAE. Plenty of fruit but looks like they're going to be small. I probably had them in the bag too long and the substrate didn't evaporate enough moisture.

Holy cow!
I never weighed my biggun, but that was always my biggest gripe with Averys, small (although abundant) fruits, which lose a lot of water weight comparatively. And each fruit pulls a lot of sub with it so it is a pain to harvest. Hopefully my big clone may help with this. Mine was a first flush guy

There have been so many awesome tubs/bags/cakes posted lately. Really cool to see all the mushroom porn.

Your RW tubs look a bit different to what I'm used to seeing. Badass tub nonetheless, Psicomvb.

Thx man For sure, the rusty whytes I grow are a bit different, both clones and MS. this was a MS tub. I have printed and grown out/cloned like 3+ Rusty Whyte generations from the prints Pasty sent out when he first dropped RW so I wouldnt doubt I've stabilized some phenotypes that are a bit different.
I personally like the steel-colored rusty whites some folks grow. Those are gorgeous.
Mushhead, those are sexy as hell too

May as well since you won't have to look at a spore dump. My Avery's are only half albino and all are dumping purple spores. Nice tub.

If they're dropping clear spores all over the surface of your substrate doesn't that fuck up the next pinset for the second flush?
I can't remember if spore dumps on substrate actually hurts pinning or if that was total hogwash. Either way there's still a few in there that could go longer. Let them lil guys join the party.
