So... if ppl to want to know... you can let your LC over colonize. I've had them pin before too. :lmafo:

That's an old pic tho. I'd do much of anything with LC these days.

I've priced them out. This is WAY WAY WAY cheaper for what you get and the sheer volume of mush you can keep dry.

After seeing your post, i priced it out as well. Some of the cheapest packs you can buy on Amazon will run you ~$14.92/lb (120pks @ 2g each, $7.99), while making them yourself will be ~$1.81/lb (600 filters @ $7.49, 2pk of 8lb litter @ $28.96). And that's using 5g of silica when making it yourself, it'd be even cheaper doing 2g, to make it Fuji apples to Fuji apples. BUT the convenience of having them premade and stamped with "HEY STUPID DON'T EAT THIS" may be worth it to some. Just wish there were smaller filters, the coffee filters seem so large to only be using 5g of silica. I want to use cupcake wrappers but there's no way they are a permeable as filters.

You can grab 100 paper tea filters for like $5.
Then again at this point its starting to defeat the purpose.

Just to stay on topic, cant wait to throw this into oats. It'll be the first non-cube i've ever grown out and I think it looks clean enough to finally have some fun.

Thanks, Yesum!

It was bouncing between 145.72 and .73. Snapped it at .72, so there ya go.

Biggest single mushroom weight I've had.

What's special about that clone. At least to me  is its fast. Super fast. Fast as any regular variety.
And 2nd it really doesn't care too much for a top layer. I used a top layer a few times and it was a nice pinset but they more or less stayed short and squat.
Kind of curious how it would respond to a legit casing layer

The blue clone I have is a clone of yoda. It lost speed but I heard the potency is ridiculous

Final thought of the day. A lot of the best clones I've gotten all came from pins on a plate.  Before I knew how the culture would Express itself.

I love surprises

I'd love a blue clone of Yoda, next shoebox I use a legit casing layer and post results. Might be a boot box, I've got 7 quarts colonizing now.
