First mono, whole grain rice spawned with 5050 with a 1:3 ratio on the 9th, still in colonisation conditions (opened it for 30 seconds) thoughts?

I have rw and ape that i put on grain 12 days ago. The mycelium jumped off the agar fine. Its just moving sooooo sooooo slow. And idk why? Im an experienced grower, but ive never had 4 clean jars grow so slowly. Its only made it like a 2" radius around the agar wedge in 2 weeks!
Has this ever happened to anyone when using wbs with alot of cracked corn? Its not sticky in there, i did what i could to get rid of some starches.

Maybe it’s stalling. Or maybe it’s just a slow culture. Draw circles around them with a sharpie and see how fast it moves past the line. That sounds a little too slow though. I never even tried to use wbs with cracked corn. My wbs only has bits and pieces of it at best.

Yea very very slow. Its moving. It grows a lil every day. I was thinking maybe its the cold weather? But its never below 60. So idk...
And the mycelium that is growing looks healthy. No bacteria from what i can tell. The ape was an isolate and tge rw was just multispore. I dropped wedges from the same plates on new dishes and theyre growing fine on that. Just slow on my grain.
Im thinking maybe i made the grains too dry now that i think about it. Thwy looked and felt fine tho.

My Golden Teachers started coming in, but I noticed two of them coming in much earlier than the rest. Maybe it's because I waited so long to transfer them to the tubs but I have two that are much bigger than the others also. This is the largest. Around 3 1/2 inches and pretty thick, at least compared to my last grow of Chitwan Nepals. Only 2nd grow so not much experience.

Just early bloomers. People clone those to try to get fast fruiting strains. But go for early clusters if u get any.

Ok cool. Thank you. Ive been so busy with work lately I havent even had time to plan for cloning. It looks like a few decent clusters are coming in. I might be able to get a pic when I get home from work later.

I just dumped out a totally triched substrate. Had to scrape it out from a flowerpot with a spoon. I tried to be careful, but I have no idea how many spores I've been exposed to. It looked pretty old and didn't release much of a "dust cloud", but anyway..
What symptoms should I look out for? It is making me nervous.

Dry eyes and throat, maybe a cough?
I would not worry unless the contams are very brightly colored like purple. You could also use a dust mask or respirator next time.

None of that yet, just some psychosomatic pains (getting better). I think I will be fine. Thanks for response.
Next time I'll pour gallons of boiling water over the shit first, lol.
Thankfully I dont have any allergies.
