I have heard of people keister a lot of things, not mushies yet... I mean I don't see how it wouldn't work... but uh... I'll just eat more if I want to get higher... unless you just like things in your booty, would feel kinda desperate... but if you just like shoving things up there, I guess that's a different vibe than the reasons the people I have known to shove amphetamines up their keister...

G2G a green jar?

And good point... your name might as well BE keestering! Lol, just giving you hell bumholio, you know I got nothing but love for you: all you guys really! This community is of great value to me: both as a source of knowledge, and of human reaction (which I don't get much of, being as peculiar as I am about folks)... like minded folks I truly consider friends, and more so than most of my "friends" in real life: I'm certainly more myself here than anywhere else, with the greatest degree of acceptance I experience in my life... I really appreciate each of you, and feel blessed to have found my way here
You can clone mature/harvested fruit immeduately, or dry them , and rehydrate later to clone... I recently successfully cloned a Texas fruit that was dry for over 8 months... pins can be cloned, but it's generally advised to wait until harvest and pick the fastest finishing fruit in a cluster... I pick 5 from MS tubs, grow them out side by side in shoeboxes to determine a winning culture based on colonization speed and first flush yield

I've been debating whether I should try that with these that were dried in 2004-2005.
I don't even know what variety they are,but I have a list of suspects from back then. Thought it might be neat to try to revive it.

I got busy/lazy and left my pasty plates to dry out over the summer. I transferred pins and in one case a big chunk of nearly dried solid mycelium covered agar, and they all came back to life within 3 days.
Shrooms from 2004 might take a bit longer . In theory if you get tissue from the inside (tear it open, easier said than done with cracker dry fruits in an SAB) it shouldn't contam. Wetter than usual agar would be a good idea. I've read about people just putting dried tissue into sterilized water and waiting a while with the hope that it will reanimate just enough to see and transfer to agar from there.

I would just give it a quick dunk then straight to agar

Don't forget to say the words from the book exactly as they are written, also you'll need candles and a lamb to sacrifice for the reanimation ritual

The slightest mispronounciation and we could all end up dead.
