No worries. I've just been dealing with this for sometime now. Believe me when I say I've tried Everything. Lol.
Where I live a lot of ppl have this problem this time if year. But they get traps poison whatever. And it ends. Problem solved. I constantly have grain so it's harder for me to keep them gone.
I've got my grain out of there reach. But it's like they know there gonna get some eventually. Lol. From me when I end up doing grain again.

Or just seal off the grow area so that the rodents cant get in, problem solved

Rodents have hyper active adhd,smell like k9s and can chew though copper pipes and concrete. Extermination is the only option.

We usually found them still swimming, some drowned. I would say it would depend on how often you check.
Live traps, like you would use for a possum, work good to. That's the trap that we stuck under water for 20 min, trying to drown the bastard, and after 20 min under water he was still kicking.
I have seen that in a couple movies. I had heard it was something the Vietcong would do to US soldiers in Vietnam.

He's not fucking around either. I was just gonna post this pic. Then I seen lemurs post. Perfect timing.  that's how good these fuckers are. They even know it's in the jars. I went into my jar room one morning and seen little white filter discs in the ground. It did t hit me right away. I was like WTF. Then it clicked. Rats. Chewed the disc off. It's the myceliated grain. Drives them crazy. Lol.

DUDE what if the myceliated grains are like micro doses for them and it is actually making them smarter? They are expanding their consciousness, lol.
