It's about his strain crossing to create ape. I assume that yours ver. Would be his first successful cross aka f7+ generation when it was stabilized.

It's been awhile since that thread so it's possible he went and back tracked to find better Genetics that's just my guess tou.

Those are 20 gal monsters that I will not be using again. My first runs were in 7 gal and I liked them a lot more. I think 10-15 would be the sweet spot but I'm not sure what fabric pot size they do between 7 and 20

20 gallons sounds like a PITA to move around / wrangle.

They are almost set in place. Wet they are impossible to move with 1 person and dry it's still a pita. My gf doesn't really do me much good so they have pretty much stayed there since potting. Getting the trays under though was fucked because I did that after the fact

But that's nothing compared to someone we know who uses 45 gallon pots 1 per light!!! Those things are there, and they stay there.. Lol

So I'm assuming the 1.0 version is the newest then ?

Workman wanted to create a variety that didn't have blue caps.
I'm going to assume that he put version 1.0 because he's planning on coming out with another version without blue caps but hasn't achieved that goal yet
1.0 is the only variety currently available

Those felt bags come in 10 and 15 gallons as well, I've used both.  I'd recommend looking into air pots.  You have to get your runs dialed in with them, but you can use smaller pots with better results.

What sativa are you running there?

I imagine that's really hard. I've always understood the blue caps as a sign of high potency. Certain leucistic strains seem to do it too.

Yeah I've noticed my AA+ will blue quite often especially from stress if the caps happened to dry out.
Being a true albino I think APE is just super prone to bluing because it has no colour. I wonder if PFA had the same bruising issue... I wish it was still in circulation

What's the benefit of air pots?

And that's Blue Dream. Im doing sea of green on the other side of the tent with BD gorilla glue and Bruce banner.

The different strains make it hard to keep canopy heights consistent. The Bruce banner are monsters

Whippin up some grains for masters of ape and pe clones. Dropping wedges tomorrow

APE plates

PE plate

Mainly focused on the ape right now but gonna run like 4 tubs of pe and see if I get repeated results from consolidating the spawn.

Gonna give a no soak grain prep a go for the first time also

I've been perferring no soaks much less can get in the way (life).

I lost tons of grain to letting it soak to long because something came up and couldn't get to it.

Third flush put out some fairly big fruit.  A lot of them have hollow stems but I'm pretty happy with the results of my first monotub so far.  I have space so I might as well see if it pushes out a fourth flush.

Over the course of the week I've prepped 21 jars and transferred 4 out of 11 colonized jars into them yesterday, the rest I shook up to colonize and consolidate.

A lot are looking around here. Agar to grain ftw.

Wish my wheat looked like that! Also the 30 min boil failed me once but spitballjedi's quick rye prep treated me well with wheat.
