growth speed differentiate cobweb v. mycelium

i have something very white, very whispy growing, and the only reason I haven't trashed it is because it is growing very, very slowly. Like maybe an inch a day. Does cobweb ever grow this slow? I hear pretty much everywhere that it grows crazy fast.
Can myc ever be thin whispy strands? or is it always organized in the rhiz-strands kinda way?

Cube mycelium grows slower than cobweb. An inch a day isn't "slow", it's normal and actually kind of quick. If it was cobweb (it's not), it would take over the jar in the next 2 days.

Cobweb is fast considered to mycelium growth that I've seen if it's growing an inch vertical then probably cobweb I have yet to come across wispy growth in jars successfully turning into mushroom mycelium

Cobweb would cover the whole jar in a day dude. And wispy growth not being cube myc? Hmm...
Post pics or else we'll never know.

Sprayed with peroxide, that shit sizzled and melted immediately. Will keep jars/tubs sitting around to see if they are salvageable. Is this ill-advised?
