Casing in second flush?!!!
    #21160044 - 01/21/15 10:05 PM (9 years, 3 months ago)

so there is 6 cakes that I put in the chamber 4 of them are going so well and satisfying but the other 2 are not pinned so good and there is only one or two little shrooms growing on them so slowly. I bought some coco coir and Vermicompost and some other stuff.
do you think its a good idea to crumble and case them with this things instead of preparing them for the second flush (thinkin they are so weak on their own)?
and if yes what mixture of coco coir and vermicompost do you suggest on your experience?

Nope!  They've been weakened by fruiting, and crumbling them will be their death sentence.

:whathesaid:

They are no longer in a veg state, so they won't want to colonize well. Crumbling will simply exhaust any energy they had left for fruiting.
