How to store jars during colonization process

Hey guys.
Just wondering how to store my BRF cake jars while they're colonizing. Just inoculated them last night. I know they should be in a warm temperature, but should I store them under light? Advice appreciated.

All of this stuff is shroomery 101. Use the search function for questions like this.
Store them on a book shelf or something. Ambient light is recommended. Keep your temps between 65-76

I store mine in a shelf that gets very little light naturally and they do fine. I've read that it's good for them to get periodic light during colonization but mine colonize fine in a mostly dark shelf.

The consensus from TC's is that light helps speed up the process is all. That's not saying they won't do their thing in the dark, just that there's performance gains with light. More then anything, just find a place to get them out of the way and try not to fuck with them too much until fully colonized and consolidated.
