Can't tell if WBS too wet

I'm trying WBS at the moment, but I can't tell if it's dry enough after draining for about 2 hours
It still feels sticky a little. Is that how it feels? Also I made up a few Jars a few days and never got around to PC'ing, will these still be OK to use? I opened one up and it smelled a bit off. Should I toss these?
Thanks

He's using rye, it's the same for all of them.
Does it smell like wet wild bird seed... Because that's a smell most people would consider off. If you hydrated them a few days ago and didn't PC I wouldn't use them but I'm paranoid and cop spawn in bulk.

I rinse WBS several times after the boil to remove the starches. Do the paper towel test. Take a pinch of wbs and place on toilet paper. Let that sit for 20 seconds. Dump off the WBS and if their is a wet spot then they are to wet.

Thanks guys
I've been drying it for about 90 min, and using a hairdryer a bit to dry it but it still has that cold wet feeling.
It doesn't leave a wet mark on any paper towel. I'm going to toss the other jars to be safe. No point in cutting corners at this point

IME, they will still feel a bit wet and I also use a hairdryer if I'm in a rush. As long as their is no wet spot then they are dry enough.
