Fae and over misting are likely. I am working on over misting myself.

The urge to squirt the spray bottle is real.

What kind of set up do you have?
Is this tray normally in a SGFC?
I feel like that substrate is too wet and the pins are aborting because of that.

Your substrate looks soaked. You need to stop misting and start fanning.

Are those "fuzzy feet" caused by not having enough FAE?

Temp and humidity sensors do not automate FAE....

Your substrate is saturated with pooling water, they need tons of fresh air, and NO MORE moisture....

I would start by giving them tons of fresh air.....open that thing up and run a fan in the room.....take them out of that contraption....

Do this until all the moisture on the surface evaporates........then gently, and I mean gently mist the surface, just until it glistens a bit....

I've never had a problem with too wet of a substrate. Mushrooms need lots of water. The problem with spraying is getting too much water on the fruits. I usually just pour any needed hydration from cups. FAE is key.

Has your substrate ever look liked OP's?

As long as you give it a chance to evaporate, the fruits will be fine.....they are 90% water....they love a good shower every now and then....

No my substrate hasn't but mostly because iI don't spray. Besides, that water is sitting on top of the substrate, not soaking into it/wicking up. Bacterial infection waiting to happen, IMO.

I just dont like spraying my fruits. Maybe I'm paranoid

OP, you're mycelium is going airborne, probably lack of fae. Vent that suckers better.
