1 grain jar has orange, black and green. Help still needed please
    #21136812 - 01/18/15 05:39 AM (9 years, 3 months ago)

All of my ~50 jars look good, except for two. One of the bad jars has three different visible contams. I have no idea what these first two are:

This third side has more orange and a spot of familiar green, so I'm thinking trich. Also, are overly-wet looking grains that don't fully colonize a sign of bacteria? Several of my jars will have 1-5 grains randomly that are pressed against the glass and look very wet. The mycelium seems to colonize all around it, but not completely. Is it just stuck against the glass, or a sign of contam?

Another pic example from a healthy jar, 1 wet grain not fully colonized near the top of the grains(bottom of pic):

This second bad jar is from the same master as the first and has a contam that looks dark gray with black speckles, anyone know what it is?

Thanks for the help guys. Also, why do you think it was just 1 jar that had such bad luck? Previously, if I see a trich or bacteria I usually see it in several jars. Makes me suspicious if I was doing everything consistently whether more aren't harboring hidden contams. Maybe I just slipped and touched something on that transfer.

Bump. The spots mostly look the same. The gray contam with black speckles pictured below has spewed out more black and I realize now that it's a liquid, I think the gray grains are mushy and must be oozing it out or something.

Please if anyone could still help name these things, or advise whether I should be worried for my health? These contams look scary to me and it's not the first time I've seen black. Should I be testing my house for deadly molds?

Whatever mold it is, make sure not to open those jars til they've been PCed for 20 minutes at 15 psi. That'll take care of whatever mold lurks inside.

I'd be spawning those guys to poo outside, not PCing them.

Even better, if he lives in a climate conducive to outdoor growing.
