Just to redeem myself, this is what I had to eat so far today: Breakfast - blueberries Lunch - asian chicken salad Snack - sweet potato and beet chips Dinner - going to roast some cauliflower, carrots, and zucchini with some olive oil, s and p, and a lil paprika. yummm
lotss of water. i try to only drink water now and maybe a glass of juice if I feel fancy. I never drank enough water in the past but I'm going to make a point of it this year.

Sounds like somebody hit the gym I'm a complete beginner when it comes to working out and need to study the eating part a lot more, but I usually just eat some extra carbs after a session, with beef + a family sized salad.
I've strayed off my usual eating patterns because of my lil trip to the north, still kept up with the bulletproof coffee though. Those crazy northerners loved the extra energy it provided plus I got to try out bulletproof coffee with reindeer milk Must have been a first..
For the last 5 days I've mostly eaten meat and fish, all of it wild caught, with some berries and of course coffee. I brought 4 bars of Lindt 85% chocolate with me and naturally ate them all plus a lot of cashews and almonds. I really couldn't say no when these amazing people let me eat at their house so I ate some stuff that I know doesn't suit me but at least now I truly know the effect "wrong" foods have on me. I don't look as slim as I did before leaving but I don't really care, the only thing that bothers me is the slight brain fog/slowness I'm experiencing.
Today I'm rejoined with my dear vitamix and plan to do double green smoothies until I feel like myself again, shouldn't take more than a couple of days. Feeling "slow" like this really motivates me to stay on my chosen path, I now remember how I used to feel before getting my shit together.
Of course started my day off with fatty coffee, for lunch I'll annihilate some kale and spinach and for dinner I'll eat some leftover reindeer with lingonberry sauce and salad. I think I'll be OK

Awesome, sounds like a good time! vitamix is the bomb I definitely notice a massive difference when I have a few days off eating properly, mentally and in physique. Eating healthy is one of the best decisions I ever made.

Went out for a glass of wine last night, and ended up eating out for dinner. I had shepard's pie with ELK meat, veggies, and gouda mashed potatoes. Super yum!!!
Fell asleep super early and woke up at 4:35am.
Haven't had anything to eat yet, just drinking my coffee w/ coconut oil in it.

maybe this is common knowledge, but I was going grain free the past couple weeks so I avoided quinoa, but I actually just found out that quinoa is more closely related to spinach and chard than anything.
still not eating brown rice, oatmeal, or granola like I used to, but I started incorporating quinoa or half of a sweet potato with each meal n im feeling much better, n still slimming down. my abs are def becoming more defined

This is going to make me look like a pig but... I'm quite proud of my eating abilities today
Gravy biscuits with tomatoes for breakfast.
Oranges for a snack.
Chicken sandwich and french fries from my favorite restaurant in town for lunch.
Grapes for a 2nd snack.
And salmon, sauteed veggies and rice for dinner.

I hear ya. But, if you're gonna get fat either way, you might as well live it up! Enjoy it while you can. You have 9 months to let yourself go n no one will judge you for it.
Atleast that's what I would do

that's awesome dude, congrats!
Yesterday was not a good day of eating for me. I need to go to the grocery store to get more fruits & veggies. I'm extremely lazy anymore when it comes to food. I have neither the energy nor the desire to cook elaborate stuff every day, hence eggs, sweet potatoes and smoothies being such a main staple of my diet. When I don't have that stuff in the house, I tend to get lazy & order out......

Thanks bunny!
I'm the same way though. Why don't you cook meals for a couple days in advance? That's what I do to avoid the hassle of slaving over the stove everyday. I have like 89 Tupperware containers lying around here for that very reason. And I buy things like pre packaged, pre formed turkey burgers, chicken burgers, etc., that way if I do need to cook something on the spot, it'll only takes me a couple minutes compared to preparing an entire meal from scratch.

breakfast today was an egg scramble with oyster mushrooms, avocado, and salsa. I had a bowl of some healthy cereal with flax seed milk after.
Debating how intense I want to make lunch. I'll probably throw bell peppers and other stuff into a pan and make a burrito like I do every day

this is somewhat off topic, but I respect the opinion of many in here, so I think its worth a shot to ask.
who here takes psychedelics? I feel like they have a place in my current journey, but I CANT eat mushrooms anymore because they rip my stomach apart, to say the least. ive never had success with tea because I have such a high tolerance. does anybody know of any alternative methods to eliminate stomach issues?

Take fresh mushrooms and put them in a blender with orange juice. blend the shit out of them and send them down the hatch.

It'll churn your stomach, but only for 5 minutes rather than 2 hours. You'll also be tripping in 20 minutes.

i am an avid psychonaut, i haven't done mushrooms in a long LONG time though. i usually keep it to the occasional lsd, dmt, or ayahuasca journey.....
