Zappa is a revolutionary, but not in the usual sense. but in the sense that he doesn't preach about so called "revolution"; and outlays, and with a proven track record, the necessity for a system and law based on ethical boundaries, over individual purchasing power being the only coercion.

point being --politically, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. at least SOME posters are realistic and work and contribute within that framework, as opposed to assuming that the work be put in to make everyone equal for doing nothing, in a vacuous moral framework, concerning only the few.

the posturer of prigs, the puppet man, the model.

i go by those names.

i have eyes to see, yet i am only looking, and not participating. i see the moves as they are dependant on each other. i guess this is my stance.

i am also a model bumbler. :cookiemonster:

ie think and stick up for what you believe in; is key. but don't preach that there is one truth to go by. one can't presume they are right (or good or true) for having no requisite to achieve that end.

apparently i philosophize too. : :filosoraptor:

I was "smoking" one of the candy cigarettes at the bus stop and I got pulled out of second grade. Looking back, the true irony lay in the teacher and principal clam baking the office I had to sit in until my mother came and got me.

Oh. I'm so old I remember cigarette vending machines. I'm sure they're still operational down south or out in the boonies.

That's what we had to turn to when they made the law you had to be 18 to buy smokes, this hotel had one, but the owners would run out and chase you off, and keep your money if they caught ya, yeah, are teachers lounge they were allowed to smoke in, and in some schools around here, if you had a note from your parents, you could smoke outside in high school!

Are boys bathroom ALWAYS reiked like pot, and cigs, and the principles hardly even fucked with trying to catch ya, until senior year, then they brought in drug dogs.

@ Zappa, I failed :frown:

Camel Unfiltered were good too but I'm sure those are gone.

I bet some people on this thread remember doctors smoking in the hospital. Or, even, when calling the doctor meant him showing up at your house with a big black leather bag and administered all things rectally.

Yallses remember when anti smoking signs were just like
"Smoking will take 2 years off your life."
?

Man, they've gotten a hellova lot more gruesome these days.
Like, they are actually disturbing sometimes, I'm honestly amazed at some of the commercials.
