day vs. night
    #2112531 - 11/16/03 07:01 PM (20 years, 4 months ago)

Having only tripped at night, I was considering the daytime for my next trip. When I am sober I find daytime to be more interesting, but have heard from many people that night trips are better, which i must say are pretty awesome. If i do choose to trip during the day i would probally do so in the woods or at the beach. Any opinions are aprreciated.

i think night trips suck because you can't see anything! in the day, the visuals come to life! the colors are infinitely more vibrant. best trips are during the late afternoon on the beach - it doesn't get any better than this. peace.

I think they are both cool. Night trips have a mysterious feel to me, and i like it a lot. Day trips are nice cause everything just looks so colorful and alive, if ur gonna trip during the day make sure to walk around and enjoy the beautiful nature all around us. Peace.

the night can be interesting, but i love the day the best.

the colors are bright, the world seems so alive.

but the night is cool because its so mysterious.

i like both but when i have a choice its definitely during the day. especially a sunny, summer day in a friends backyard by a pool and a hammock... and plenty of weed.... ahhhh lifes good...

The day scares me... There is just so many people and things going on... Loud noises and such. Which I guess would be cool for some people. But I like the night... It's like humanity is asleep and your expieriencing it more naturally. Plus the sky looks awesome.

it depends on the environment. like i hate being in public tripping, i know what you mean about that. but if we're chillen just a few of us in a friends pool area at their house, its perfect.

i do enjoy the sky at night, especially with a bright moon and a few passing clouds

I have only tripping once during the day......although I liked it, I feel there are too many things that could happen during the day that I couldn't handle tripping. When I move out I'm sure I'll do it during the day a hell of a lot more though.

Try a day to night combo, or night to day. It's good to get the sunset or the sunrise as you're coming up. It's a really eerie feeling being camping and watching the world change into a completely different place as it gets darker. I love that feeling. Especially on a very clear night and the moon is out. Passing clouds are definitely fucking cool as hell to watch, the way they swirl around the moon and dance in the sky
Also the light the moon casts on the earth makes the world look like a rather surreal world.

I always usually trip around 4 pm or so. That way, i can get the best of both worlds. I really like the day during the sunet because like everyone else says, you can see the vibrant colors and everything all around you seems to give off a fuzzy and kind feeling. But i also enjoy the night time. Especially places with bright lights and trees.

tripping during the daytime has it's benefits, but so does nightitme. it doepends on what you want. if you're doing it for the visuals, then sure daytime, if you want something else though, nightime is cool. a lot less input. I like tripiing in the dark a lot because it allows me to concentrate better.

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

Too much light hurts visuals. I personally like both. But I'm a night person tripping or sober. I try to time it now to get mostly night but some sun, its cool seeing the sun rise or set :sun:

I like night trips, better visuals and it's safer. I'm usually busy during the day, and I'm too afraid something will happen that I can't handel while tripping. I did try a daytime trip once on vactation but again, I liked the night better.

Man now I want to go into the woods and trip with nature.
