i am willing to make a glovebox if it really is necessary, but whats the purpose? the sterile jars come out of the PC and go into the storage tote, you take the sterile syringe and innoculated the jars and then close the lid... is there really a need to make the whole innoculation process airtight? after positng your response please let me know if you use a glove box or not?

a flowhood or glovebox is really only needed for culture work and it's helpful for print taking and syringe making. you don't need one at this point.

I just started growing shrooms and have never used one.
I have taken wild shrooms and made my prints and syringes without using a glovebox.

I built one for working with popcorn jars only because I want be as clean as possible. Grains have a tendency to contaminate easily sometimes and I figure its better safe than sorry.

well, involves cranking the oven up to 250-300 and then knocing up the jars while on the oven rack. I briefly read about the process and didn't look back... made sense to me and was better then nothing. I found a link so check it out and decide for yourself.

here's a glovebox you can build for a handfull of coins.

just spray it well with iso before you use it and let it sit for a little while before you get to work.

i dont flame sterilise,i use new sterile needles and syriges everytime i make syringes and simply wipe the needle down with iso if i feel it needs it.
PS lighting a flame inside a glovebox that has been sprayed with iso is a very bad idea.
