A question regarding finding azures....
    #2112534 - 11/16/03 09:01 PM (13 years, 8 months ago)

Does anyone find Azures away from the coastline? The ones I was able to find were less then 20 feet from the water in dune grass. Also has anyone found them in woodchips or an area other then dune grass?

I am talking about maybe a few hundred feet or so from the coastline. Also do they grow more in dune grass with just sand, sand and soil mix, or soil?

Coastal area can be miles from the ocean but not so far. I have dfound them around astoria and Hammond in mulched gardens at times int he past.

But look into new apratment complexes, parks and nice hoimes with mulch in cities.

Office buildings and restaurants with gardens outdoors.

Tell you a funny story., Here in Seattle there uuse to be a hippie restaurant for about twenty years called morningtown int he U district.

They had planters inside the restaurant and I went to eat there once with a friend and we found blue ringers growing in his indoor planters along the windows of the restaurant. What ius even strange was the owner and operator of morning Town also had the wexact same name as I do.
