Are my Thai Samui ready to dunk & roll?

Hey guys!
It's been a month since I injected my mushbag with some Thai Samui.
Do you think the incubation time was long enough? The big chunk has been white with mycelium like this for at least a few days.. (except the bottom, because it was standing like this) so I guess I should continue to dunk and roll.

 Thanks for your help!

When I grew Shiitake a while back I turned the bags on their sides to let the bottom finish off. I think I then waited a week or so and then took them out of the bags and rinsed them in the shower using cold water and then soaked them for 12 hours in cold water with a plate on them and some weight to keep them underwater.

you dont dunk and roll a bag of grains, you spawn them to bulk. but those grains dont look healthy to me so I doubt you'll see much end result
there's a lot of bacteria and maybe even some mold.

aaw I didn't know anything about some bulksubstrate.. lousy question, but is it possible to fruit them without? Not sure if I am able to make me some substrate the next few days.. , anyway I shouldn't dunk them?
bacteria? Noooo..

this isnt a pf-cake its grain spawn.
you could try to add some coir on top of the grains and not spawn them as they probably will contam if you break it up to recolonize bulk sub.

aaah I see... just when I thought I was right haha
so could I cut the bag open above the grains and put a layer pasteurized verm(I have verm right now but no coir) on top of it? maybe I will buy some coir if I am able to soon.. Oh and then I don't need to put that thing in my fruiting chamber or mist and fan regulary?
sorry.. I guess I still have so much reading to do, that stuff really is complicated, but also fun

Did you get that bag pre prepped?

Thought so, could tell you didn't do adequate research. It's pretty wet too
You gotta get some substrate as already mentioned and run that spawn. I'd suggest getting a tub and look into the bucket tek, that'll be the 'easiest'

thanks for the input! well, I got this from a friend and thought I could use the pf tek..
anyway, to my understanding, if I wanna do it the buckettek-way, I need to spawn the whole stuff including coir and so. spacechildo mentioned that I shouldn't spawn this time because of a contamination-risk.. so should I break up the mycelium and mix it with the other stuff to let it colonise again or not?

This is what running the spawn is called.
Get a brick of coir, you already have the verm
Hope you found a new friend. Read read read

Yeah I am getting into the tek now, it really isn't that difficult.
But what I meant was this:

So... yes or no to running the spawn?^^

I would break it up and spawn it.
A little bacteria never hurt nobody. Fruiting in that bag will get you poor results. I doubt it'll go green before at least ONE flush

I'd say casing coir on top of a grain 'cake' would con tam faster than following the tek.. You're not moldy so theres really no reason to not continue following it...and the next step.. run that spawn

Then that's what I am going to do! Only need a bucket and some coir and I am ready to go. I'll post pictures after the spawning!
